RF Systems Engineer

We are expanding our Data Link Systems team to further develop world-leading missile data link capabilities.



Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 2 to 5 days per week on-site, depending on project needs and workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizenship or Dual UK with British citizenship is required.

Please note: Due to the nature of the work, certain restrictions or limitations may apply with regard to and/or rights to work in the UK. All successful candidates must be eligible for and will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.

The team is located across two main sites-Bristol and Stevenage-and works closely with multiple disciplines to deliver innovative and robust defence solutions.

Key Skills and Experience (one or more of the following ):



RF / Microwave systems knowledge



Requirements management and systems-level design



Experience working with or managing external suppliers



Technical leadership and mentoring of junior engineers



Design review experience across the development lifecycle



Experience transitioning development hardware into production (e.g., environmental/qualification testing)



Software/Firmware integration and system functionality testing



Understanding of antenna systems and RF system modelling



Real-time digital signal processing expertise



Waveform design and implementation knowledge



Autocode and systems modelling



Research capability based on academic or technical publications



Strong communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder presentations
