ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will oversee multiple residential projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. If you are an organized and proactive professional with a strong background in construction management, we want to hear from you!

THE POSITION

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5+ years of recent experience in Construction Management or Construction Project Management. We are not reviewing applications of any individuals that do not meet this criteria.
• Familiarity with construction management software, such as BuilderTrend or ProCore, or similar.
• Strong leadership qualities; the ability to teach, delegate, and supervise.
• MUST be able to multi-task in fast-paced environments. As mentioned above, you will have multiple projects active at a time, and will need to prioritize and act efficiently and effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Familiar with current market costs for construction materials and labor.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager, who helps guide the Los Gatos teams to ensure consistency and success in all departments.

OFFICE LOCATION & TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

The position is located in Los Gatos, CA and requires active hours between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is often travel between projects, as needed. Our Los Gatos office covers projects ranging between Santa Cruz County to Daly City. *We assign projects based on geographical location, that way travel mileage and distances are minimal between projects.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a full-time annual salaried position with a starting rate of $80,000 - $100,000, pending experience. There's a lot of room for growth as well.
