Are you a Mechanical Resident Engineer with experience of the supervision of WWTP construction?Are you interested in an 18 month contract based in Dublin?If you are looking for a role with great scope to develop your career, contact Karen now for an informal chat or send your CV to karen@jobcontax.com for review.Resident Engineer - Mechanical & Process - WWTP - DublinJob DescriptionOur Client is one of Ireland's leading multi disciplined design consultancies working on a large variety of public and private projects in Ireland and the UK.The Resident Engineer will report directly to the Project Resident Engineer or in his/her absence to the Employer’s Representative.You will have direct responsibility for the monitoring & associated administration of relevant and identifiable elements of the construction and installation works in the project as may be assigned to them by the Project Resident Engineer.You will be responsible for the carrying out of all orders and instructions from the Project Resident Engineer or in his / her absence from the Employer’s Representative and other authorised officers of Irish Water and such other duties as may be assigned to him/her by Irish Water, subject to the following limitations:The person appointed shall be on-site or represented during all working hours of construction.Key RequirementsHold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification, in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering as applicable to the role;Have at least 10 years’ post graduate relevant experience with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in the delivery of major Civil and/or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Infrastructure Works at least 3 years in water/waste water treatment plants. The candidates should have experience administering contracts using both the Public Works & FIDIC Contracts. The candidates should have a good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.Have relevant experience on-site, supervising MECIA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control & Automation) Works on water/wastewater engineering projects. As well as experience of detailed design/procurement and construction/commissioning experience in large-scale wastewater treatment processes and mechanical installations, including experience/knowledge of Aerobic Granular Sludge (AGS) systems and of sludge treatment processes.PackageSalary €60k - €70k based experience, negotiable for the right candidates.Minimum 18 month contract
