ClinCloud is a clinical research company dedicated to evaluating investigational medications and devices that cover a broad range of diseases and disorders. We are actively seeking a Research Assistant to join our Maitland team.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist Coordinators in trial related organization and filing.

· Perform clinical tasks including, but not limited to, vital signs, height and weight, ECG, phlebotomy, specimen packaging.

· Understand thoroughly all assigned studies through reading protocols.

· Adhere strictly to the study protocol; obtain exemptions when applicable.

· Collect, process, and ship laboratory samples.

· Communicate protocol issues to study team, Site Administrator, Principal or Sub-Investigator.

· Maintain timely source documentation.

· Educate patients and family regarding their particular study and clinical drug trials in general.

· Perform ad-hoc projects/tasks as needed.

· Provide appropriate community resource referrals to patients, caretakers, and family members when applicable.

· Assist in community outreach events.

· Assist with reception tasks (i.e., answering phones, sending/receiving faxes, checking in/out patients, accepting packages, etc.)

· Collect initial psychiatric and medical information by interviewing patients and by accessing other appropriate sources.

· Be able to qualify and accurately place patients in real time to open enrolling clinical trials.

Required Skills

· Ability to communicate clearly/effectively (written and oral).

· Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Fluent/proficient in Spanish.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

Required Experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software required, knowledge of EMR systems preferable.

· Previous experience in a related healthcare setting a plus.

· Previous experience with clinical trials a plus.
