Regional Application Engineer - Industrial Refrigeration

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Support SEA Countries (Malaysia/ Indonesia/ Thailand/ Vietnam/ Indonesia/ Philippines) for IRF Application Engineer (Ammonia) Support technical support on system design, solution consultation, technical trouble shooting, technical training, and service network development. Support sale team for PJT pipeline development in SEA countries Act as a diagnostic expert on mechanical, electrical, and electronically controlled equipment and systems Participate in complex projects including the implementation, replacement and upgrade of equipment control systems, production lines and industrial utilities systems Act as an internal technical consultant, subject matter expert and teacher concerning automated mechanical, electrical, electronic controlled equipment, and PLC controlled systems Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements Background & SkillsAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or Business, Master's degree a plus. Strong technical knowledge in Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) Fluent in English with good communication skills 3+ years’ technical or sales management experience working with OEMs, system integrators, service partners, distribution channels & end users within IRF industry and /or commercial cold chain business Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a aftersales service or technical engineers team in the Contractor, End-user and OEM environment Knowledge in IRF / HVAC&R applications, heat exchanges, and other controls and systems Superior business acumen and strategy deployment
