Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Position Tittle for our client. This job involves conducting lab tests using equipment such as Hot Set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator/Shadowgraph, calipers, and micrometers to support corrective and preventive action processes. You’ll test materials and products, generate Certificates of Analysis, close internal NCRs, audit production processes, and review incoming raw material COAs/COCs.What’s a Typical Day Like?

  • Support the corrective and preventive action process by conducting lap tests (Hot set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator / Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers) and other lab equipment as needed.
  • Test materials and products and create COAs
  • Facilitate the closure of internal NCRs.
  • Audit the production process.
  • Review and approve incoming raw material COA’s / COC’s.
  • Assist in calibration compliance & equipment verifications.
  • Collect and compile quality data.
  • Assist in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
  • Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in Quality inspection.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Quality Inspection & Auditing experience.
  • IATF 16949 Experience – .
  • Computer Software (Microsoft SharePoint, Suite, Minitab, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of inspection equipment (Hot set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator / Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers) and other lab equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Communication skills.
