Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStep into a shop where metal moves fast and quality moves faster. This is a hands-on role for gearheads who live for precision and thrive in the pulse of production. You’ll lead the IATF-16949 system, run audits that matter, and work elbow-to-elbow with machinists to push product quality to the next level. What You’ll Do
- Own and maintain the IATF-16949 Quality Management System
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance and drive improvement
- Manage document control and maintain accurate quality records
- Collaborate directly with floor Techs to troubleshoot and optimize processes
- Apply PPAP methodology and precision inspection techniques
- Support machining operations—especially lathe work—in a hands-on capacity

What You Bring
- 5+ years in manufacturing quality, preferably in automotive or precision machining
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience with IATF-16949, PPAP, and audit processes
- Strong machining background with lathe experience (95% of our shop is lathe-based)
- Passion for working with metals and solving problems on the floor
- Comfortable getting hands dirty and working closely with production teams

Work Setup
- Split time between office and shop floor
- Flexible schedule averaging ~50 hours/week
- Exposure to light oil, moderate noise, and lifting up to 30 lbs
