AERMOR is seeking a Quality Control Specialist III who will provide professional quality assurance and technical support. This role requires a strong background in engineering or software design/maintenance, quality control practices, and hands-on experience with U.S. Navy Navigation equipment and systems. The Specialist ensures that products, services, and processes meet established quality and safety standards, and plays a critical role in testing, evaluation, and verification efforts.

This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities:
 

  • Apply engineering and software design/maintenance skills to solve technical problems.
  • Ensure that products, services, and processes meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform equipment testing to verify process effectiveness, safety, and compliance.
  • Interpret engineering plans and technical drawings, contributing to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) tools to prepare shop drawings for model construction.
  • Work with material specifications and fabrication methods to support testing and design processes.


Required Experience:
 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience solving technical problems in engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
  • Practical understanding of engineering concepts.
  • Hands-on testing of equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
  • Proficiency with CAD software for drafting and design.
  • Familiarity with material specifications and fabrication methods.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
  • Expertise in at least three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
