Job Description This is an in-person role for our Project Captain (or Project Manager) position located in Statesville, NC. Role Description We are seeking a Project Captain to join our team! The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of multiple small/medium projects from conception through project closeout. Reports to Senior Project Manager and/or Principal. This is a full-time on-site role for our Project Captain (or Project Manager) position located in Statesville, NC. The Project Captain will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. Daily tasks include managing timelines, coordinating with team members and stakeholders, expediting processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring that projects are completed within scope, time, and budget. The role also includes logistics management and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Job Responsibilities Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for project success. Manage teams of internal production staff, consultants, and contractors assigned to each project. Main point of contact for clients – you represent Design Associates as the “face of the firm” – responsible for keeping clients apprised of project status, obtaining necessary approvals, etc. Monitor multiple projects to ensure they are on track, meet client requirements, and meet all regulatory and internal quality standards. Lead production staff in the development of projects. Coordinate with the project designer to ensure that the design vision is achieved throughout the project. Responsible for overall appropriateness and constructability of projects. Job Requirements Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program. 3 or more years experience at an Architectural firm AND managing Architectural projects. Architectural license but not required. Strong leadership abilities. Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills. Experience with AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
