Job Description
Job Title: Construction Project Manager\n\nLocation: Manchester \n\nContract: 6 Months (Starting ASAP)\n\nRate: £350 per day CIS\n\nWe are seeking highly experienced Project Managers for a vibrant and friendly projects team to oversee projects on a large healthcare site in Manchester, which is currently undergoing a number of upgrades projects up to £10m in value. \n\nThe site has a number of benefits with a high end office and regular team bonding events. \n\nSomeone of a commercial contracting background on the build or M&E side is essential. The ability to deliver projects safely.\n\nMust have SMSTS, first aid, Ukata Asbestos awareness and Temporary works ticket\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProject Leadership: Take full responsibility for managing the projects works on a large-scale healthcare renovation project.\nSubcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Regularly monitor performance and progress.\nHealth & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant healthcare regulations, industry standards, and health & safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.\nStakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the client, project team, and subcontractors.
Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and any issues that may arise, providing solutions where necessary.\nBudget & Schedule Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that costs are managed effectively and within allocated limits. Oversee the project schedule and ensure timely delivery of works \nEssential Requirements:\n\nProject Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects, with a focus on electrical installations, subcontractor coordination, and meeting tight deadlines in a live environment.\nStrong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and timely project completion.\nHealth & Safety Focused: Knowledge of industry regulations and experience in implementing and maintaining strict health and safety standards on-site.\n\nTo apply, please send your CV to (url removed)
