Position: Project Manager/Rebar Detailer

Location: Dallas, TX
Salary: $60,000 + Monthly Bonus Potential

About the Role:

As a Project Manager/Rebar Detailer at Barnsco, you’ll be at the heart of the action, overseeing the production of rebar placement drawings and material cut lists for a variety of exciting concrete construction projects. You will ensure that drawings meet both industry standards and company specifications, while also managing material deliveries, coordinating with the customer and scheduling teams, and addressing any issues that arise on the job.

What You’ll Do:

• Produce high-quality rebar placement drawings that conform to both industry and company standards.

• Create accurate material cut lists for shop fabrication, ensuring every detail is correct and ready for production.

• Research and resolve detailing, fabrication, and field issues, working closely with the team to keep projects on track.

• Coordinate with customers and scheduling teams to plan material deliveries and ensure timely placement.

• Track and document all job details, maintaining accuracy and organization every step of the way.

• Provide outstanding customer service, whether through phone calls, meetings, or job site visits, ensuring our clients' needs are met at every level.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation is essential – your technical skills will be put to good use!

• Previous experience with rebar detailing, understanding the industry’s standards and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

• Strong math and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings.

• A positive attitude with a passion for excellent customer service and team collaboration.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!

• An Associate’s Degree or higher is but not required.
