About Us:
Task Force Contractors is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned construction and facility services firm specializing in commercial and government projects across the Southeastern U.S. We are growing and looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Tampa-based team and help lead high-impact projects from pre-construction through close-out.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee construction projects, managing both in-house crews and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction, preferably with federal or government project experience, and is highly organized, bilingual (English/Spanish ), and capable of driving performance through scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle: pre-construction planning, execution, close-out, and documentation

Lead daily coordination with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and performance

Develop scopes of work, track project deliverables, and ensure compliance with specifications and timelines

Schedule and coordinate labor, subcontractors, and materials to meet project milestones

Maintain thorough project documentation including change orders, RFIs, and daily reports

Monitor financial metrics, job costing, and project profitability

Use project management platforms (such as Xactimate, Buildertrend, or equivalent) for estimating, reporting, and scheduling

Assist in identifying and developing new project opportunities in the public and private sectors (business development objective)

Ensure safety protocols and quality control standards are enforced across job sites
Qualifications:
-
3–5+ years of experience in construction project management
-
Experience managing interior trades (drywall, paint, millwork, flooring, casework, etc.)

Familiarity with government contracts, federal compliance, and Davis-Bacon projects strongly

Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Xactimate, Buildertrend)

Strong understanding of construction documents, codes, and scheduling tools

Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Ability to travel to project sites as needed

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
