Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMoody Excavating, LLC is currently seeking applications to fill an open position for Project Manager. We are looking for an experienced and motivated candidate that can oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of heavy civil construction projects, including roads, highways, and utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field crews.
We are looking for long-term candidates who value the opportunity for future advancement that our company offers. All positions with Moody Excavating, LLC require the ability to work overtime as needed and properly follow company polices and OSHA safety standards for a safe working environment.

Project Manager Duties:

• The Project Manager will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of heavy civil construction projects, including roads, highways, and utility infrastructure
• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Oversee road, highway, and utility infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with engineers, owners, municipalities, and field teams
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules
• Manage subcontractors & suppliers
• Monitor job progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Prepare and review project documentation and reports
• Support estimating and bid preparation when needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction
• Proven experience with road, highway, and utility infrastructure projects
• Proficient in project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
• Experience utilizing industry relevant software
• Ability to lead, direct, Estimate change orders and work with other Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers on multiple projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
