Job Description

Our client is a Local Authority in Essex who with over 9000 social housing properties. They are currently embarking on their largest ever capital investment programme and require a Project Manager to lead a number of workstreams.

Projects have already been scoped, tendered and packaged and consist of building envelope work (roof, windows, externals etc) to low rise blocks.

As Project Manager you will supervise the appointed contractors to ensure successful delivery. You will work closely with the Liaison Officer to ensure effective communication given the properties have tenants in situ.

We need those who can demonstrate an extensive track record delivering similar capital schemes within a Local Authority / Housing Association. Specifically, you must have experience of delivering roofing, windows and external works projects.

The contract will be offered for at least 12 months with scope to extend given the programme of work.

The day rate is £450 inside IR35.

You will be expected on site / in the office at least 3 days per week; this is non-negotiable.
