My client is a specialist in Fire Protection solutions, and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their expansion into the Yorkshire region.\n \n They're committed to delivering first-class fire protection solutions across the UK. With their head office in Northampton and strong presence, they're now investing in growing their operations across Yorkshire - and this role will be central to that journey.\n\nIf you're looking for a role that offers autonomy, progression, and reward, with the chance to shape and lead a region, this is the perfect opportunity.\n \n The Role\n\nAs Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the companies growth across the Yorkshire region. This is a role with genuine autonomy, where you'll be trusted to make decisions, shape processes, and establish a strong regional presence for the business.\n\nYour responsibilities will span both project delivery and commercial growth:\n\nPreconstruction & Pricing Support - assisting with tenders, pricing, and scoping works to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant bids.\nPlanning & Coordination - developing programmes of work, resourcing requirements, and ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery.\nHealth & Safety / Compliance - preparing, reviewing, and monitoring RAMS, ensuring works comply with FIRAS/BMTRADA accreditation standards and industry regulations.\nSite Visits & Audits - carrying out regular site inspections, audits, and client progress meetings, maintaining quality and safety across all projects.\nProject Delivery - managing passive fire stopping works from start to completion, including coordination of subcontractors, materials, and site teams.\nClient Relationship Management - being a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout projects.\nCommercial Growth - working with directors to identify and secure new opportunities within the Yorkshire region.

Any projects you bring into the business will earn you 1% commission on profit, directly rewarding you for your contribution.\nRegional Leadership - over the first 6 months, you'll take the lead in building out a Yorkshire delivery team, with plans to recruit and manage Site Managers as project volumes increase.Projects will typically be within:\n\nHigh-rise residential apartments\nStudent accommodation schemes\nSchools and educational facilities\n About You\n\nThey're looking for someone who can bring both technical expertise and commercial drive, including:\n\nProven experience in passive fire protection / fire stopping\nFIRAS or BMTRADA accreditation (essential)\nSMSTS and relevant NVQ qualifications\nStrong knowledge of project delivery, H&S, and compliance\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nAmbition to grow into a senior leadership role, with responsibility for building and managing a teamWhat's on Offer\n\n£60,000 basic salary\n£5,000 car allowance\n15% annual bonus\n1% commission on profit from any work you bring in\n3% pension match\n24 days holiday + bank holidays (option to buy, sell, or roll over)\nDeath in service: x3 annual salary\nFlexible working: office-based with site visits & home working\nHigh levels of autonomy and a clear pathway to regional leadership
