Job Description
Blackfield Associates are carrying out a search on behalf of a leading R&D institution, who require a contract Project Manager on an interim basis. This will be for an initial 6 months. The client is currently undertaking a strategic review of their campus and the PM will be part of this team, looking at space utilisation and contributing towards the build of new office and lab space.
The core function of the role will be to manage, co-ordinate, and deliver facilities and building infrastructure capital projects, ensuring best practice project management principles.
You will be hands on with developing project processes throughout project stages and managing both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all regulations are met. As the Project Manager you will ensure all projects are delivered safely and will follow company Project Management policies and procedures.
The successful contractor will ideally come from a building services/construction background and hold qualifications in a relevant field. Previous project experience with R&D projects and laboratories is essential.
