Project Engineer (Two-year contract based)

Job Requirements 3-5 years working experience in project-based business, preferably with minimum 2 years of MTR-related experience in telecommunication system Degree holder in Engineering related or equivalent Site working experience is required Basic knowledge and concept on computer programming, SQL query, VMWare ESXi VM platform and Linux OS, is preferred Strong PC skills, especially in AutoCAD, will be an advantage Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and independently Flexible team player with coordinating mind and strong interpersonal skills Good command of speaking and writing English and Cantonese. Mandarin language capability will be an advantage Immediate Availability is preferred Job Descriptions: Manage and monitor existing MTR projects in Hong Kong where our company acts as the main contractor. Job responsibilities include: Provide technical support to the team for new business development Respond to client’s request promptly as key contact point, and report to Project Manager for all project-related issues on accurate and timely basis Communicate and coordinate with client and sub-contractors for project technical issues and progress, arrangement of site access, site survey and site work activities Review design documents, drawings and testing & commissioning (T&C) documents Attend night site works at MTR stations to supervise and verify subcontractors’ on-site activities, including installation and testing & commissioning (T&C), to ensure that works are carried out in conformance with approved design drawings and applicable design standards of the client, and to resolve any on-site issue promptly if occurred Undertake other duties as required commensurate with abilities
