Alecto Recruitment is keen to hear from Engineers who have experience overseeing Projects within the EfW sector or similar, interested in a full-time permanent role in the Kent area.
Our client's mission is to create the smart energy systems we need for a low-carbon future. We design, plan, construct, connect and manage solar and energy storage projects for developers and domestic clients in the UK.
Job Brief
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for:
Supporting in the delivery of all major project and overhaul maintenance during the annual outage.
Day-to-day management of contractors working on assigned projects.
Producing and maintaining project documentation
Working on ad-hoc projects throughout the year, such as, turbine inspections, conveyor overhauls, plant performance and efficiencies.
Ensuring project delivery is completed within the assigned time frames and in a safe and efficient way.Requirements
A relevant technical qualification such as an ONC/HNC/HNC/Degree in an engineering discipline
At least 5 years' experience in an operational environment on a power station with Supervisory experience.
This could be Energy from Waste, Coal, CCGT, Biomass, CHP or Nuclear.
Senior Royal Navy Marine Engineers with significant watch-keeping experience will also be considered (Petty Officers/Chief Petty Officers/Warrant Officers)
IOSH or NEBOSH
Senior Authorised Persons Status or experience with High Voltage equipment would be a bonus.
Excellent proven leadership skills.Package
Salary will be around £50,000 to £65,000 (Dependent on Experience)
