About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a project in Portland, Victoria. This is a full-time, onsite role on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and procurement activities to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely project execution.
- Ensure compliance with client-approved design standards and all relevant regulatory and code requirements.
- Oversee technical data reviews across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Engage directly with the client to ensure successful project delivery and foster strong relationships.
- Organize and manage scheduling and cost control processes.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in project engineering.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience applying lessons learned and implementing innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Strong sense of accountability and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Portland, VIC or surrounding areas.
