Overview

Seeking a senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 15+ years’ experience to support a portfolio of industrial capital projects. The role focuses on engineering evaluations, project coordination, and technical support across electrical, instrumentation, and boiler-related scopes. Boiler/BMS experience and E&I exposure are assets but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering design evaluations and support project delivery within budget and schedule

  • Review industry procedures and reports to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance

  • Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection

  • Support identification and sourcing of long?lead equipment and FEED contractor interfaces

  • Develop project deliverables and functional interaction plans; coordinate issue resolution

  • Coordinate change requests and endorse change authorizations as required

  • Verify design and construction align with project specifications and standards

  • Serve as interface between Project Team and contractors; support smooth stage transitions

  • Provide technical support to the Project Manager and act as backup when required

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline

  • 15+ years of engineering experience in industrial, energy, or capital project environments

  • Multi?discipline exposure across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes

  • Familiarity with design standards, specifications, and engineering work processes

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities

  • Proficient in MS Office; able to learn internal systems and databases quickly

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
