Overview
DEA’s
Energy Business Unit
is hiring an
Advanced Power Systems Engineer
to join our team. The role involves working closely with project engineers and managers on multidisciplinary projects, providing analysis and technical expertise for renewable energy clients.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced power system studies using software such as ETAP, EasyPower, PSLF, PSS/E, CYMCAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, EMPT, and others.
Prepare project deliverables including data requests, study results, technical reports, engineering drawings, and documentation.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, assess design change impacts, and promote effective communication.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college
3+ years of experience in power system design and analysis
Ability to produce clear, concise technical reports
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
7+ years of experience with ETAP and EZPower in power or delivery
Professional Engineering License (PE)
Experience in consulting and project management
Technical writing experience
