As part of our continued growth, LEMOINE is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Group-a key entry point for individuals pursuing careers in project management, field supervision, or estimating in the civil construction industry.
Summary
As a Project Engineer within the Infrastructure Department, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators to support the successful delivery of large-scale civil construction projects, including levees, pump stations, floodwalls, drainage improvements, roadways, and utility infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include field coordination, document control, cost tracking, and QA/QC support to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-schedule project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and engineers to support field activities, installations, and inspections.

Assist in the management of RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and project documentation.

Track project cost data, procurement logs, and schedule milestones alongside PMs and Superintendents.

Support quality assurance processes, material testing, and punch list resolution.

Maintain accurate daily reporting including logs, photos, and meeting notes.

Promote clear communication and alignment between project teams, clients, and governing agencies.

Uphold safety and environmental compliance in accordance with project-specific and LEMOINE standards.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

1–3 years of construction experience, preferably on heavy civil or public infrastructure projects.

Working knowledge of site utilities, concrete structures, earthwork, or drainage systems is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or HCSS is .

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

Regular presence on active construction sites (outdoor environments).
