Job DescriptionPosition Description The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer to execute the company’s process package projects Purpose of Role (Objectives) Execute portions of projects assigned by project managers Promote and maintain reputation of the company for supply of quality products Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Review vendor and company documents to ensure safe design and compliance with project specifications. Prepare technical project specific documentation for enquiries. Consolidate material take-offs in coordination with the lead engineer to define project purchase requirements. Prepare purchase enquires in coordination with Lead engineer, evaluate vendor bids for fabricated items and with respect to compliance on -engineering project specifications. Expedite vendors for timely document submission against purchase order requirements Make expediting / progress / visits to vendors identified as key to project success. Coordinate and clarify any post order technical queries by vendors. Coordinate customer and third-party inspections and factory acceptance tests Arrange packing and shipping of materials and smoothly clear shipments through customs Ensure all work sites are HSE compliant with company policies and safety standards. Observe HSE regulations, ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, encourage safe working practices and identify / report any unsafe activity. Skills and Duties Understanding of the fundamental process, mechanical and instrument requirements of the company’s process packages Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings Understand the fundamentals of project management, budgeting and project scheduling Have a basic understanding of key elements of contract law with respect to procurement activities Have a working knowledge of Company Procedures, Quality and HSE standards Qualifications5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or related industry Be aware of different codes and standards used in Oil and Gas IndustryAdditional InformationAs an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.
