Position Summary
We are seeking applications from experienced Project Coordinators support our Offshore Projects Group. This role will be based in our Jandakot Office.
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the projects team. The position is responsible to ensure that subsea and topside projects scopes are specified, manufactured, tested, and installed to meet operational objectives, company, and international standards to ensure it integrates into and work well as an overall system.
This role works collaboratively with project management, engineering, workshop team as well as supporting services including, Supply Chain, HSE & Quality, suppliers, and contractors.
Duties And Responsibilities
- To provide a range of project management and support services including but not limited to developing and maintaining project documents and schedules, preparing project related reports, coordinating project meetings and workshops requirements and implementing and monitoring project plans.
- Preparing, tracking and updating project progress through bids, schedules, procurement, cost reports and work requirements to ensure project status is accurate and timely.
- Initiate and Manage project part requirements through collaboration with Engineering, Projects and Supply Chain including developing and managing project BoM, raising requisitions and tracking.
- Assist with reviewing and documenting current processes and capabilities.
- Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers to manage multiple projects, activities, and associated resources.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate work requirements for Engineering, Projects, and Workshop to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion.
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinating with 3rd party vendors, subcontractors, and supply chain management to ensure successful management of vendors and orders, ensuring sharing of information for relayed for project execution.
- Project Management of Inventory Builds and Manufactured / Sales Products.
- Assisting in ensuring close-out of projects, participation in AAR and lessons learnt.
- Assisting in the development and the maintenance of project forms, work instructions and processes.
Qualifications
- Cert IV or Diploma in Project Management or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of project support and planning/scheduling experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft software-Word, Excel, Access, and Project Applications.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of engineering design of mechanical systems, hydraulics, tooling.
- Proven project execution skills, along with ability to work efficiently within a diverse team.
- Working knowledge of document control systems and project design.
- Experience raising requisitions as well as working with ERP and CRM systems.
- Experience in project bid preparation.
- Ability to read and understand design drawings and schematics.
- Previous experience within oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts.
- Previous subsea experience (desirable).
- Understanding of Engineering Process
