Project Financial Controls Engineer - Infrastructure

We are looking for a Project Controls Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and support the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and performance indicators, as well as ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You will also collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to identify and resolve project issues and risks.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project controls, preferably in infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project controls and earned value management (EVM) principles and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Cobra, or other scheduling and cost control software.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a Project Controls Engineer, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and baselines using Primavera P6 and Cobra.
  • Tracking and reporting project progress, performance, variances, and trends using EVM techniques and tools.
  • Ensuring compliance with project scope, quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Preparing and presenting project status reports and dashboards to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Supporting change management and contract administration processes.
