Project Controller - Delivery Integration Officer - ref 1681\n\nLocation: Luton (20% onsite)\n Duration: 5 month contract \n Rate: £67.89 UMB (Inside IR35)\n\nRole details:\nOur client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a diligent Project Controller/Delivery Integration Officer for a contract role based in Luton. This role involves maintaining and enhancing delivery processes and ensuring alignment with organisational standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProcess Ownership & Continuous Improvement -\n\nDefine, document, and maintain end-to-end delivery processes, frameworks, and operating models\nEnsure processes align with organisational, regulatory, and customer requirements\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned, feedback, and performance metrics\nMaintain process documentation, playbooks, templates, and toolkits\nStandardise best practices across projects and programmes\n\nGovernance & Compliance - \n\nEnsure delivery activities align with governance frameworks and lifecycle requirements\nProvide oversight to confirm adherence to defined processes and standards\nSupport audits, reviews, and compliance activities\nIdentify process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions\nSupport SAP activities including PR raising and chasing Suspense hours (timesheets)\n\nGuidance & Delivery Support -\n\nProvide practical guidance and coaching to Project Managers, Programme Managers, and delivery teams\nSupport onboarding of new ways of working and processes\nFacilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities where applicable\nSupport preparation of ways of working/process artefacts and create user experience communications\n\nSAO (Service/Systems Assurance Office) Support -\n\nHelp embed assurance requirements within delivery processes\n\nStakeholder Engagement -\n\nCollaborate with DIO, PMO, TechOps, Architecture, and Commercial teams\nProvide clear communication on process expectations and updates\nSupport senior stakeholders with reporting on process compliance and maturity\nInfluence teams to adopt standardised practices without direct authority\n\nKey Skills & Experience Required:\n\nProactive self-starter with a track record of identifying and implementing solutions\nExperience in designing, implementing, and evolving delivery processes and governance frameworks\nSolid understanding of assurance, audit, and review processes\nStrong stakeholder management and influence skills, with a pragmatic approach\nComfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment\nExcellent communication skills with confidence in facilitating discussions and workshops\nProficiency with frameworks and standards, continuous integration, and SAP\nIf you are a highly motivated and influential individual with the correct attitude, all required tasks can be taught.
