Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring a Sheet Metal Production Supervisor for a leading manufacturing partner in Newington, CT.

Pay: $60,000–$70,000/year
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:00PM

Duties: The Sheet Metal Production Supervisor leads day-to-day shop operations, coordinates workflows, mentors staff, and ensures production meets quality, safety, and timeline goals.

Responsibilities:

· Plan, adjust, and assign daily tasks based on changing production needs

· Hire, train, and mentor shop personnel

· Enforce safety procedures and provide proper safety training

· Monitor and report on project status, timelines, and quality

· Resolve conflicts quickly and maintain a positive team environment

· Manage staff efficiency to meet budgeted labor standards

· Communicate regularly with engineers, upper management, and team leaders

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in sheet metal production (REQUIRED)

· Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

· Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

· Skilled in motivating and managing production teams

· Experience with project planning, safety protocols, and workflow efficiency
