Department Description and Responsibilities
Supply Chain / Procurement – responsible for managing indirect procurement activities, supplier relationships, and implementing global and regional procurement strategies at the site level.

Project Description
The Indirect Procurement Manager will support the procurement function at the Bayport site. The role focuses on optimising source-to-pay processes, implementing standardised contracts, and delivering cost savings while ensuring compliance with ESG objectives.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Localise and execute regional/global category strategies tailored to Bayport’s operational needs.
  • Develop site-specific sourcing plans and risk assessments.
  • Drive competitive bidding and deliver cost avoidance and efficiency gains.
  • Implement standardised contract templates in collaboration with Legal.
  • Ensure proper contractual arrangements across the supplier base.
  • Mitigate supplier risks and ensure compliance with corporate standards and sustainability goals.
  • Establish KPIs and supplier scorecards; provide monthly reporting to leadership.
  • Act as the primary procurement interface for site teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance).


Technical Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA or certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Procurement Manager in an international environment
  • Minimum 7 years’ of procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier performance management skills.

Methodology/Certification Requirements

  • Approval under Indirect Procurement Management (IPM) is desirable

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).


Location

  • Bayport, Texas – Onsite presence required 3 days per week (subject to business needs and during onboarding).


Contract

  • Start Date: January 2026.
  • Duration: 12 months (initial 6 months with potential extension).
