Altrad lead the market in the development and delivery of complex World Class Engineering Solutions to ground breaking projects and technology such as Hydrogen and Nuclear, that has significant impact on Global challenges, solving some of the world’s most pressing Clean Energy issues.

In this newly created role applications are eagerly sought from experienced Procurement and Supply chain Professionals who have a demonstrable track record in leading the delivery of Technical Purchasing across multiple Projects.

As Part of our Procurement Management leadership team your remit will include;

• Develop, deliver and maintain the project procurement strategy for projects and proposals to meet overall business needs and objectives across the Procurement Function.
• Manage and expedite procurement processes ensuring project timescales are met, delivering sustainable savings and value through commercial insight, supply market expertise and contracting excellence.
• Lead and own Long Range and Short-term resource planning and deployment of Project Procurement resources.
• Define and implement Procurement Strategies and influence stakeholders to secure cross-business support
• Facilitate and support negotiations and conclusion of key contracts with suppliers.
• Work with Functional Leaders to develop Sourcing and Procurement to enable successful and efficient project delivery.
• Act as subject matter expert for ethical and sustainable sourcing pre and post Supplier Qualification.

We are keen to hear from MCIPS graduate level candidates who have a demonstrable track record in Procurement leadership gained within environments such as Power, Oil and Gas, Engineering or similar who are comfortable with systems such as ERP, Oracle etc and Procurement tools such as Scanmarkets.
