To be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Basic Job Requirements The role will involve some or all of the following, with supervision from a senior engineer• Production of Technical Safety deliverables• Providing technical advice and solutions to the discipline and project• Developing awareness of international codes and standards• Organising and Participating/scribing in project HAZOP, HAZID, SIL studies, and other safety workshops as required / appropriate• Interfacing with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up• Developing understanding and expertise of process safety risk assessment tools, consequence and risk modelling techniques.• Development of active and passive fire protection schemes, including:o Development of firewater P&IDs, fire protection diagrams, equipment layout.o Fire and Gas detector mapping.o Development of Fire and Gas cause and effects diagrams o Firewater demand and Hydraulic calculationso Preparation of equipment data sheets, RFQ’s. Candidates must have the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to audiences that include management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, the wider engineering community as well as non-engineering personnel.
