Process Engineer | Delta Township, MI
Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes or modifications to existing ones.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
- Monitor key process performance indicators, analyze data, and report on trends and deviations to drive improvements.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, production, maintenance) to ensure seamless process integration and operational success.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to apply process optimization techniques, root cause analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
- Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, Arena)
- Experience with automation design and implementation (e.g., robotics, advanced control systems)
- Fluency in a second relevant to the operational region
