Principal Structural Engineer - Underground Structures\n\nA specialist consultancy, based in London are looking to employ a Principal Structural Engineer in their Underground Structures and Tunnelling team to help them deliver some of the most impressive and technically challenging projects in the UK and across the World.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead and deliver UK and international projects\nSupport and develop technical capabilities across service areas\nProvide engineering solutions and present findings to managers and clients\nPerform structural design and analysis using advanced software and global standards\nManage staff time, budgets, and project schedules\nCoordinate multidisciplinary design processes and liaise with clients and stakeholders\nPlan and allocate resources to optimise efficiency and revenue\nEnsure quality and consistency through standardised procedures and peer reviews\nFollow company procedures for service delivery and project management\nContribute to business development and client relationship building\nCollaborate with internal teams and support cross-disciplinary initiativesRequirements\n\nThe ideal candidate will be Chartered (ICE) and also have a post-grad qualification in a structural engineering related subject.\nYou must already have significant underground structures experience, whether than is tunnels, station boxes or shafts etc.\nExperience in major infrastructure projects (often exceeding £100million)\nExperience with various different design standards (Eurocodes, UK codes, AASHTO and other international industry standards)Salary\n\n£53,000 - £65,000 \n\nFor information about this position or any others within the Civil Engineering design market please contact Sean.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value in our company.
