Job Description

Senior/ Principal Planning Consultants - Multiple Opportunities\n\nA well-established, employee-owned planning consultancy based in Leeds is seeking experienced Chartered Planners to join a growing team.\n\nAs a Planner within this busy consultancy, you will handle a diverse portfolio of projects including energy infrastructure (solar, battery storage, wind, hydrogen), waste management, minerals, and commercial development.\n\nThis is a dynamic role offering a broad scope of responsibility across all stages of the development process-ranging from planning policy and appraisal, land promotion, and consultancy services to development management and project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare and coordinate planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)\n\nManage relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and communities\n\nProvide strategic and tactical planning advice at a senior level\n\nLead site appraisals and manage external consultants\n\nCollaborate with in-house planning and landscape professionals\n\nRequirements:\n\nRTPI qualified (or working towards)\n\nDegree or Master's in Town Planning or a related field\n\nStrong working knowledge of the UK planning system\n\nExperience (preferably) in one or more of the following sectors:\n\nEnergy\n\nWaste\n\nMinerals\n\nCommercial\n\nResidential\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on a significant and exciting pipeline of projects, with access to in-house environmental and landscape expertise, within a collaborative and expanding team
