Principal Embedded Software Engineer
Hurst, TX (100% Onsite)
Direct Hire | Bonus Eligible | Active Secret Clearance Required

What You’ll Do

• Develop embedded software in C++ within real-time, safety-critical environments
• Work with RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity) and Embedded Linux (Yocto/RHEL)
• Support hardware/software integration, testing, and validation
• Contribute to flight software and SIL/MIL/HIL simulation efforts
• Collaborate across software, systems, FPGA, and hardware teams

What You Bring

• 8+ years of embedded software experience
• Strong C++ and real-time systems background
• Experience with avionics, flight software, or defense systems
• Hands-on lab integration and testing experience
• Active Secret Clearance

Nice to Have

• FPGA/Xilinx or Python experience
• DO-178C, MBSE, or simulation environments
• Navigation, guidance, or signal processing
