Job Title: Power Salesperson
Location: Central Florida (preferably local to Lakeland)
Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Power Salesperson to join our team. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities within the power sector, specifically targeting industries such as pulp and paper. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and familiarity with key players in the power market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the power sector, including major clients such as Duke Energy, Florida Power and Light, and Santee Cooper.
- Conduct field-based sales activities, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Sell maintenance and service equipment packages, turnkey project work, labor, repairs, and outage services.
- Engage in regular client visits to ensure satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Report to the Division Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the power or related industries.
- Familiarity with pump repairs and maintenance services is advantageous.
- Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, based on experience.
- Commission structure of 1.5% of gross profit.
- Car allowance and expense card provided for travel-related expenses.
This position is primarily field-based and does not require regular office attendance. Candidates must be located in the Central Florida area to ensure proximity to clients. Some travel within the designated territory may be required.
