Town Planning Director - Infrastructure Focus\n\nLocation: Flexible across the UK (hybrid working)\n Salary: Highly competitive + benefits + bonus\n\nAre you a strategic thinker and industry leader ready to shape the future of planning and infrastructure in the UK?\n We're working exclusively with a leading, award-winning consultancy at the forefront of sustainable place-making, who are seeking a Town Planning Director to join their growing team.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in the direction and delivery of major infrastructure and development projects across the UK. You'll be part of an established, multidisciplinary practice known for creating imaginative, inclusive, and deliverable solutions that respond to the challenges of climate change, growth, and community needs.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Town Planning Director, you'll take a leadership role within a highly collaborative planning and design team. You'll lead and grow the infrastructure planning offer, overseeing complex and high-profile projects - from renewable energy and transport to regeneration and large-scale mixed-use developments.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nProviding strategic planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and partners\n\nLeading planning inputs on DCO, NSIP, and major infrastructure projects\n\nManaging and mentoring a talented team of planners and consultants\n\nDriving business development and expanding the planning service offering\n\nRepresenting the consultancy at public inquiries, stakeholder meetings, and industry events\n\nAbout You\n\nYou're a chartered town planner (MRTPI) with significant experience at senior level, ideally within a consultancy or multidisciplinary environment.
