Your impact

• Direct day-to-day production for a pipe fabrication shop, ensuring schedules and quality targets are achieved.
• Continuously improve processes to boost throughput, minimize rework, and standardize best practices.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant facility.
• Train and guide fabricators/welders in techniques, procedures, and inspection criteria.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to validate specifications, codes, and priorities.
• Assist with layout coordination and drafting by supporting the development and updates of pipe design drawings based on engineering input and project requirements.
• Oversee equipment/tool inspections, maintenance schedules, and repair coordination.
• Capture and report production metrics; communicate performance, risks, and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve team or process conflicts promptly.

What it takes

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding/fabrication certifications or a technical credential .
• Extensive experience in piping fabrication and pipe welding with 3+ years supervising teams.
• Strong command of fabrication techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings and communicate them effectively to crews.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with solid problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfort with fabrication-related software (CAD/drafting, production tracking) and shop tools.
