Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (flexible based on business needs)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Materials Handler to join our growing pharmacy operations team in Monroeville, PA. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with experience in warehouse, distribution, or mail order environments. As a Materials Handler, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining the pharmacy’s inventory flow—from receiving and stocking to replenishment and storage—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every step.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily receiving, put-away, and replenishment of pharmaceutical products and supplies.
• Conduct blind receipts using RF devices or computer workstations for data entry.
• Inspect and stock pharmaceutical products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Inventory Coordinators to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials safely within the pharmacy.
• Read and follow work orders and oral instructions accurately.
• Maintain accurate daily production records and attach proper tags or labels to inventory items.
• Ensure effective use of warehouse storage space and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Experience:
• • Minimum 6+ months experience in a warehouse, distribution, or mail order environment.
  • Experience loading/unloading trucks and using hand jacks ().
  • Familiarity with SAP or other advanced inventory systems strongly .
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds (with assistance).
• Strong ability to read and interpret departmental documents such as receiving logs, SOPs, and purchase orders.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with computers for data entry and reporting tasks.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
