Job Description

Responsibilities: \n Responsible for planning the server onto racks, arranging the server mounting \n Install the operating systems for new mounted servers \n Responsible for reinstalling the server operation systems, solving the abnormalities. \n Responsible for the daily server maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and follow-up break-fix of the server and other hardware \n Maintain data on internal systems including asset management, ticketing, rack related data \n Work with remote vendors or other teams to solve hardware batch failures and problems \n Oncall on duty, responsible for dealing with the problems raised by the business owner side \n Collect and check online assets status or issues \n Erase drives or other configurations for retiring or relocating servers. \n Provide retrofitting or test feedback for tools/systems/platforms.

\n Submit and track the part RMA or media destruction process \n Server network troubleshooting \n Server lifecycle management \n Other server operation related work \n Tidy and escalate problems to senior SOE \n\n Requirements: \n\n Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant fields \n Strong ability to work under pressure; \n Strong learning ability, broad technical interest; \n Strong sense of responsibility, full of enthusiasm for work \n Good communication skills in English, good team work spirit; Has ability to work independently \n Knowledge of the interdependencies of server functions and technologies \n Can understand and run simple Shell/Bash scripts \n Familiar with Linux system, able to locate hardware faults; Strong analytical and problem solving skills \n Basic network knowledge concepts - MAC, Subnet, TCP/IP; Ability to perform general troubleshooting \n Knowledge of out-of-band/lights-out server communication methods, such as IPMI
