Offshore Installation Engineer

Project DetailsYou will give us engineering & installation support for our offshore wind & hydrogen project development. Role DefinitionAventa is looking for an Offshore Installation Engineer for his engineering entity.Your main responsibilities will be:• Coordination of engineering work and preparation of installation procedures/ method statements (RAMS) mainly for cable installation and structure deployment.• Preparation of presentations for HAZID/HAZOP meetings;• Coordinate with company’s departments to ensure preparation of procedures (RAMS)accompanied documentation;• Communications with the Client for clarifications, alignment etc.;• Respond to comment sheets received by the Client;• Attendance to teleconferences/face to face meetings;• Provides engineering support during operations with occasional periods offshore;• Prepare as-built documentation/reports;• Project documentation control.The job will be executed on the vessel, during the onshore phase you will work in home office.QualificationExperience:- Minimum 10 years- Conclusive technical and managerial experience in the Energy / Offshore Construction sectors.- Preferably experience of installation projects as method/coordinator or equipment design.Hard skills:Technology watchManagement of a multidisciplinary & multicultural team.Management of construction and design engineering projects.Contract, execution monitoring and high-stakes contractual interfaces with clients and subcontractors.Experience of cable or umbilical is a strong point.Good knowledge of international standards covering offshore installation, cable and umbilical design, environmental conditions is a real plus.Language skills :FrenchEnglishSpanish or Italian are a plus.
