Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Nuclear Engineer to join our dynamic team at Scitech GmbH. The Nuclear Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, construction, and validation of radiopharmaceutical imaging, research, and manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in nuclear engineering principles, physics, and mathematics to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and engineer radiopharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Conduct thorough analyses of nuclear interactions, neutron and gamma ray transport, heat transfer, fluid flow, chemical reactions, and material behavior under radiation. Develop innovative solutions for optimising facility layout, equipment selection, and process design to enhance efficiency and productivity. Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of personnel and the surrounding environment. Lead validation activities, including commissioning, qualification, and performance testing of radiopharmaceutical facilities and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients on nuclear engineering principles and radiation safety protocols. Stay abreast of advancements in radiopharmaceutical technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of Scitech's service offerings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Nuclear Engineering, Health Physics, Radiological Sciences, or a related field. Proven experience in nuclear engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in mathematical modeling, simulation software, and computational tools used in nuclear engineering analysis. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards governing radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
