NPI, Engineering Program/ Project Manager

Responsible for the critical tasks include but are not limited to;- Support multiple teams by playing the role of Project Manager. Implement NPI flawless launch processes, principles, and practices, and foster project management culture across the team. Use the team's estimated velocity against the initial backlog to predict project duration and identify potential release milestones; re-plan frequently as actual speed is defined and is re-prioritized as necessary. Regular communication of project status to internal and external stakeholders through status reports and verbal/visual presentations. Prepare and execute an effective change control process and customer communication plan. Schedule and facilitate iteration planning, review, and retrospective events. Track and manage project controls (risks, impediments, and dependencies Ensure that the project is managed to budget, time, and quality; it delivers the benefits anticipated in the project charter. Use Smart Sheet or excel to generate project plans that help identify actionable and measurable opportunities. Help manage the team's document repository. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: Engineering Foundation Competencies Sufficient level of technical background to effectively collaborate with development and engineering teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues. Prior experience, at least 10 years in engineering associated with Project Management, Proven ability to lead NPI projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met. Experience overseeing multi-function projects with at least five team members, including Design engineering, Business team, Process engineers, QA Engineers. Good command of the English language (verbal and written) and can confidently communicate with customers and stakeholders within a business setting. Familiarity with Project Management tools; Microsoft project, Smartsheet-project management Sufficient level of technical background to effectively collaborate with development and engineering teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues. Understanding of mechanical parts manufacturing processes. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and critical equipment. Knowledge of quality improvement practices and techniques. Ability to plan for and coordinate a wide variety of resources to achieve the project's objective Jobs details;- Requires performance as an NPI project manager and program manager. The position entails interfacing with Customers, the Global Customer Business Unit (GCUB), the Hardware Platform Solution team, and other key stakeholders at the site to initiate, plan, monitor/control, and close out the project successfully. NPI project manager is accountable for successfully launching the NPI projects or programs per the project objective, baseline scope, and schedule following the cooperate and site's NPI project management guideline, so-called Flawless launch. Responsible for overall management and success of the NPI function and its ability to transition and develop products and processes to manufacturing. This role heavily works to establish the project plan over the project lifecycle manage the changes. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in a critical delay in schedules and unit operation and may also affect the project. Builds cross-functional relationships where persuasive skills, negotiation skills, and considerable tact are required to gain support from the project team. Maintains positive relationships with key customers who significantly impact the organization and project's success. Interacts regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning the project's progress, issues, or deviations that impact the launch schedule or cost.
