Night Shift Welder in EH21, Crossgatehall, East Lothian

We are looking for a Night Shift Welder to work for our client at a busy waste management and recycling facility in Musselburgh.



This role involves maintaining, repairing, and fabricating metal components for site machinery, equipment, and structures to keep operations running safely and efficiently.



Key Responsibilities:



* Carry out welding, fabrication, and repair work on plant equipment



* Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns



* Work with mild steel, structural steel, and other metals



* Ensure all tasks comply with health & safety and site procedures



* Support engineering and maintenance teams during night operation



* Keep accurate records of work completed



Requirements:



* Proven experience as a welder/fabricator



* Competence in MIG/TIG welding (MMA an advantage)



* Ability to read technical drawings



* Strong understanding of safe working practices



* Flexibility and reliability for night shift work



* Experience in waste, recycling or heavy industrial environments is an advantage
