Job Description

We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected facilities management company seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled team working across a variety of commercial properties throughout the Midlands/Southern Region. You'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, with a focus on HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems.\nJob details:\n * Perform reactive and emergency maintenance across multiple sites within the region, completing all required documentation accurately.\n * Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, ensuring all reports and service records are up to date.\n * Diagnose and repair faults on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, demonstrating strong technical and problem-solving skills.\n * Undertake additional or ad-hoc tasks as directed to support business and client requirements.\n * Participate in the out-of-hours / on-call rota (1 in 14).\nQualifications/Experience:\n * Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance, including servicing, repairs, and installations.\n * Strong understanding of commercial heating systems; unvented hot water experience advantageous.\n * Good working knowledge of plumbing, controls, and Building Management Systems (BMS).\n * Competent in basic electrical safety and safe working practices.\n * 18th Edition certification ().\n * Excellent fault-finding ability and capability to work independently or as part of a team.\n * Organised and detail-oriented, able to complete paperwork promptly and accurately.\nWhat’s on offer:\n * Salary: £40,000\n * Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm\n * Holiday allowance - 31 days (inc statutory)\n * Company pension scheme.\n * Company vehicle + Fuel card (Can be used for personal use).\n * Employee of the Month + Birthday voucher.\nPlease note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
