Our client is one of the world's largest leading manufacturers, they have a presence in all the leading supermarkets in the UK and are expanding. \n\nJob Role & Key Responsibilities:\n\nYou will play a vital role in maintaining and optimising the electrical reliability of the equipment and infrastructure, whilst contributing to efficiency, compliance and safety across the site.\n\nDeliver reactive and planned electrical maintenance to minimise downtime\n\nTroubleshoot and repair faults across motors, drives, PLCs, control systems, and sensors\n\nEnsure optimal performance of utilities and infrastructure to support energy efficiency goals\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean practices\n\nMaintain compliance with LOTO procedures, BS7671, and electrical safety standards\n\nSupport production teams by promptly resolving equipment issues\n\nCollaborate with other engineering disciplines to complete cross-functional projects\n\nAccurately record maintenance activities and condition-based monitoring (CBM) data in CMMS\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nProven electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment\n\nRecognised Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2381/2377, HNC/HND or equivalent)\n\nUp-to-date knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations\n\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostics skills with electrical systems and process equipment\n\nFamiliarity with CMMS systems and accurate maintenance record keeping\n\nUnderstanding of utilities systems and site infrastructure\n\nA proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on safety and compliance\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\nExperience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley) and control systems\n\nElectrical safety training and additional certifications\n\nBackground experience in a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment\n\nBenefits include:\n\nCompany bonus scheme\n\nProduct allowance\n\n24/7 GP access\n\nGenerous pension & holiday entitlement\n\nIf you believe you are a great fit for this role, we'd love to hear from you.
