Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Hereford Up to £41,000 per annum Double Days (Mon–Fri, 6–2 / 2–10)
A growing and well-invested manufacturing business is looking to recruit a mechanically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site team.
With significant investment into new injection moulding machinery and extrusion lines, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that is continuing to expand and modernise its operations.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems (60/40 mechanical bias)
- Support two key production areas:
- Extrusion lines (approx. 10 lines)
- Injection moulding machinery (new equipment)
- Work alongside an existing maintenance fitter in a small team
- Reduce downtime and improve overall equipment reliability
About You
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Multi-skilled with a strong mechanical bias
- Hands-on approach with good fault-finding skills
- Open to engineers looking to develop further in a growing business
