Electrical Maintenance EngineerReading£45,000 - £50,000We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of secure commercial properties in the Oxford, Reading and Swindon region.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established facilities management provider offering long-term stability, career progression and the chance to work within a supportive and expanding engineering team.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault-finding across electrical and building services systems. The role will involve working across multiple sites within the region and participating in the standby callout rota.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance within agreed SLAsFault finding and repair on electrical systems and associated plantSupporting with general building services maintenance including HVAC, mechanical and fabric tasksIssuing and managing Permits to WorkMonitoring subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to required standardsEnsuring all equipment operates efficiently and safelyMaintaining accurate maintenance records and documentationEnsuring compliance with health & safety regulations, risk assessments and COSHHProviding a professional and customer-focused service at all timesSupporting continuous improvement and service innovation initiativesRequirementsEssential QualificationsCity & Guilds Electrical qualifications (2365 / 2330 / 2360 or equivalent)NVQ Level 3 in Electrical InstallationInspection & Testing qualification (2391 or 2394/2395 desired)Full UK Driving LicenceExperience RequiredPrevious experience within Facilities Management or Building Services maintenanceStrong fault-finding and reactive maintenance experienceExperience working on commercial propertiesGood understanding of compliance and safe systems of workPackageSalary between £45,000 - £50,000Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pmCompany van with personal use option£150 standby payment (1 in 7)25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days with service + Bank HolidaysOption to purchase additional annual leaveOngoing training and development opportunitiesStable, long-term contract environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
