Our client is looking to enforce their office in Berkshire focused on Imaging Sensors for the Automotive industry, with a Principal Analog Design Engineer. You will be working in the Analog Group designing a complete analog signal processing chains for state-of-the-art image sensors, specifically targeted at the automotive industry. As such, you will be working on designing high reliability circuits such as ADCs, SC Amplifiers and references. The Analog Team supplies a significant part of the whole product and you will be expected to work closely with other teams to deliver high quality products. The Analog Design is equipped with a laboratory where you will be expected to get involved in measurement and characterization of the blocks you designed.

Job Qualifications

You have 5-10 years of experience in Analog IC Design from a similar or related field. You show that you have a deep and intuitive understanding of analog design. Knowledge of switched capacitor techniques and low power ADC design would be advantageous.

Qualifications

* Experience of an extensive range of process nodes.

* Expert user of analog design tools (Cadence, Mentor etc.)

* Deep understanding of circuit layout techniques

* Solid understanding of practices for assuring device reliability and high yield (DFM)

* You show extensive innovation in previous work (which has delivered customer solutions)

* Device modelling experience (Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, etc)

* Designed chips with Analog-Mixed-Signal subsystems

* Coding skills – Scripting (Ocean/SKILL)

* May have led a project team, and provided technical direction to the design team

* IC Design-specific training or relevant post-graduate qualification (MSc / PhD)

* Low power and Sigma-Delta ADC design

* Switched Capacitor implementations

* Project leadership experience

* Experience of Silicon Image Sensors
