Microbilogy Laboratory Technician

An international manufacturer of speciality chemicals is looking for Graduate Microbiologist in the North West. As a Graduate Microbiologist, you will be responsible for applications testing. If you have just finished your degree and looking for an entry level position, apply below!

Hours- Monday-Friday- 9am- 5pm

General overview of the Microbilogy Laboratory Technician

• Responsible for performing microbiological tests on samples
• Working with the analytical team to help support microbiological work

· Stock Management for the Laboratory

· Waste disposal

· Document control for the Micro Laboratory, filing archiving etc.

· Contact with external contract laboratories and providing updates to ensure deadlines are met.

· Requesting analytical testing to take place to enhance and support the microbiology work.

Experience & Qualifications required for the Microbilogy Laboratory Technician

· Educated to a degree level within Microbiology, Biology or related subject.

· Experience working within a Lab is desired but not essential.

· Able to work as part of a team as well as working individually
