MEP Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large commercial construction projects. Ideal candidates will have successfully led MEP scopes on high-profile builds—like data centers, hospitals, and casinos—within well-known general contracting firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead MEP coordination from preconstruction through commissioning, managing scope integration, budgets, schedules, and quality control
• Direct subcontractor performance, spearhead clash detection and conflict resolution using 3D coordination tools
• Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, architects, and clients on constructability, value-engineering, and compliance reviews
• Monitor project financials: track costs, manage change orders, and report on MEP-specific budget performance
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, facilitate site inspections, and support system commissioning and project turnover

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on large commercial projects with a general contractor
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills
• Proficiency with construction coordination platforms and project management software
• Degree in engineering or construction management
